I Moved to PA!!!

This past weekend I moved into Brandon's parent's house in Coatesville, PA. We packed dad's van up and headed out bright and early at 5am on Saturday! We made it to Coatesville around noon and dear Monica and Joe FINALLY met Bill and Barb :) We had a great time unpacking, organizing, and fellowship with Brandon and his parents. His sister Briana and her husband Eric stopped over with their 2-month old son Carter to visit so mom and dad got to meet them too! We took a walk around the property then went swimming in Brandon's aunt and uncle's pool (they live right behind Brandon's parent's house). 

On Sunday morning we went to Cornerstone Christian Fellowship in West Chester, which is where Brandon and I will be going to church. Brandon is already actively involved with a lot of ministries at Cornerstone and I am looking forward to getting involved as well. After church we went over to Brandon's apartment so mom and dad could see it then they headed back to Ohio. 

I have already had two interviews since I've been here (a total of 3 days so far) and have two more interviews this week. It's so exciting to be in a new place and explore what's around, but I really do miss everyone in Ohio.

Casey's Black and White Wedding

On August 7, 2009 my cousin Casey tied to knot to a wonderful guy named Geoff (Actually, his real name is "A" but he goes by his middle name Geoff... ask him about it, it's a good story). Casey and Geoff got married at a Mormon temple in Columbus and everyone met at an Airforce base in Dayton for the reception. The food was delicious, the dancing was a blast, and I couldn't be happier for my cousin. I will, however, miss staying up with her 'til all hours of the night to talk about boys, life, sneaky things we can do to Becky and Josh... Congrats Casey and Geoff! Love you both!! :) P.S. Thanks for throwing the bouquet to me Case -- I'm next!!! :)

I'm Moving!

That's right! I'm moving to Coatesville, PA at the end of this month. I have couple job prospects out that way with some marketing companies that I will be pursuing. I will be living with Brandon's parents as I start my career, get involved with a new church and community, and make new friends. Brandon's apartment is only 20 minutes away from his parent's house so that will be a nice change from living 7 hours away! :) I am so excited about this move and this new chapter in my life and trust that the Lord is guiding my every step. I will definitely miss Ohio, but Brandon and I will be back to visit often. 

Vacation in Canada!

This is the second summer I have been able to go up to Barry's Bay, Ontario with Brandon and his family. The week was full of beautiful weather, lots of swimming and water sporting, family games, and fun times in a small cabin that housed 10 adults, a 5-year old, and a 6-week old baby!

My friends got married!!

Two of my VERY good friends from college, Katie and Phil, tied this knot this past weekend. I was honored to be one of Katie's bridesmaids and be a part of their special day. It was a beautiful wedding and a beautiful day! SO much fun with all of our friends too!! :)

Brandon's Surprise Visit on the 4th of July!!

My Uncle Jeff and Aunt Heather have a 4th of July party at their house in Hinckley every year and on this particular 4th of July, Aunt Heather called me in the early afternoon and asked if I could come over early to help them get ready because they "had a lot to do and were really behind schedule." So I hopped in the car and headed over there right away. When I got there and went in the house, Brandon was sitting on the counter! I was SO surprised! And SO happy!! He's such a great boyfriend! :) Here's some pics from the day:

Becky's Graduation Party

My younger sister Becky graduated from Cornerstone Christian Academy and will be going to Baldwin-Wallace this fall for an accounting degree. She will also be playing volleyball for the yellow jackets and is gonna rock their socks!! We had a graduation party for her this past weekend and it was great! Brandon came to visit for it and we did LOTS of work to prepare for it... putting up tents, landscaping, cooking, cleaning, keeping mom calm... all the fun stuff :)
